The Kings Croft is a family run hotel with 22 ensuite bedrooms situated 1 mile from the M62 and A1 and less than 7 miles from the centre of Wakefield. A former country house the hotel is set in grounds of more than 5 acres with superb lawns and views across the countryside.

The hotel has 6 function rooms with capacities between 20 and 300 and can accommodate over 550 guests for dinner. The hotel is licensed for civil ceremonies and is one of the primary wedding venues in the area with more than 120 wedding receptions in 2010. Kings Croft offer a wide range of menus including the famous “Hog Roast” packages. The hotel offers the complete package including toastmaster and DJ and can organise the whole day including fireworks and helicopter rides to or from the venue.

There is a public bar offering bar meals and snacks from midday. The newly opened restaurant “La Donna Pazza” offers a range of classic English and authentic Italian cuisine and is open from 5pm daily. The restaurant seats 100 guests and boasts fantastic countryside views with full glass walls to 2 sides of the restaurant. The restaurant manager , Fernando Santos brings a wealth of experience to the La Donna Pazza having previously run Silvestres in Osset and having worked at Robertos in Batley and Rinaldis in Wakefield. The atmosphere is cosy and family friendly with a flexible menu to suit all tastes.

Kings Croft can cater for all different types of functions such as birthday parties, school proms, sportsman’s dinners and christenings. Live entertainment features prominently at the Kings Croft with tribute acts such as Robbie Williams, Peter Kay, Meatloaf, Abba, Ronan Keating, Take That, Rod Stewart already taken place in 2010. Star entertainer, Billy Pearce is a regular performer at the Croft, as is, TV florist Carl Wilde.

The function rooms are fully equipped for conferences with built in screens and projectors and full audio coverage for radio microphones. The full range of conference equipment is available on site.

There are 22 ensuite bedrooms, all offering flat screen TVs, freeview, free Wi Fi, and tea and coffee making facilities. There are 3 executive rooms, 2 traditional style with 4 poster beds or a modern version with roll top bath in the room and luxury wet room.
