Wakefield Festival of Food, Drink & Rhubarb - celebrating the district's historic link with the growing of rhubarb each February
Long Division - Wakefield's urban music festival, see over 70 acts play at 30 city venues each June
Pontefract Liquorice Festival - celebrating the town's association with the famous plant each July
Wakefield Lit Fest - a 9-day celebration of reading and writing each September
