Heritage Open Day 2010 at Rogerthorpe ManorHeritage Open Day 2010 at Rogerthorpe Manor

As part of Pontefract Civic Society’s Heritage Open Days, visit the seventeenth-century manor house of Rogerthorpe.
Now a country house hotel, Rogerthorpe Manor dates back to around 1610. There are interesting historical links with the sieges of Pontefract Castle, Robin Hood, and some fascinating ghost stories. Beautiful gardens.
Complimentary tea/coffee will be available in the Jacobean pub.
Visitors will have access to the grounds and some ground floor and first-floor rooms.
