Frickley Country Park
Frickley Country Park is a 75 hectare (180 acre) public space.
The site of former Frickley Colliery has been transformed after a £7million investment by the National Coalfields Programme, delivered by the Homes and Communities Agency. Now it is a park designed for the whole community to enjoy.
The regeneration of Frickley Country Park has been developed and managed by Yorkshire Forward and Wakefield Council.
