Squires Tearoom at Anglers Country Park

All day big breakfasts are served as well as light lunches, snacks and confectionery all at reasonable prices. In good weather visitors may choose to make use of the outside picnic tables, dogs are welcome here with dog chews and water bowls available. The tearoom is poular with walkers and cyclists providing a comfotable stop off/meeting point, or why not visit to relax with a decent Douwe Egberts coffee or Tetley tea and view the work of local
artists displayed on the walls.
We are a small tearoom with seating for a maximum of 30 customers, although we can cater for larger parties if given sufficient warning. If you need further information please contact Terry on 01924 860282.
Anglers Country Park itself is a poular free attraction with its open rolling landscape, offering walking, cycling, picnicking, wildlife and bird watching. The two mile path around the lake is both wheelchair and pushchair friendly and electric mobility scooters are available free of charge for use within the park (reception at the Waterton Countryside Discovery Centre).Anglers Country Park is also a starting point to a network of footpaths and trails to explore the wider countryside-enjoy a woodland walk or follow the Barnsley Canal towpath.
