Castleford Civic Centre

Castleford Civic Centre was opened in March 1970 by her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Kent as a community resource and as an administration base for the Town Council.
Today Castleford Civic Centre has a well-deserved reputation as a modern and vibrant venue that has at its heart a spectacular and highly flexible 600 capacity atmospheric auditorium, which is famous for its spectacular large concerts, shows, ball room dancing, festivals, fairs and more.
Alternatively the admirable Legioleum Room, named after the original Roman term for Castleford can accommodate anything from conferences, weddings, and private parties.
In fact, it’s this combination of our rich history, long-lasting traditions, and authentic modernist architecture that bring any functions to life, making Castleford Civic Centre a true modern classic and a venue quite unlike any other.
Castleford Civic Centre offers a diverse events programme, delivered by a highly professional Events and Functions Team.
