Join the NCMME for a sponsored walk, just over a mile long and suitable for all the family.
You will wind your way through the enchanted Nature Trail at the National Coal Mining Museum with miners lanterns, fairy lights and a few surprises to illuminate your way.
You can make the event extra special by dedicating and decorating lanterns to carry with you, as the route will lead to the Memorial Garden where you will have the opportunity to place your dedicated Memory Lantern and take some time for reflection and remembrance.
Hog roast available on the night for guests to purchase food & the Museum cafe will be open.
