Show off your conker-swinging skills with number 10 from your list of 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾ and create fuzzy felt acorns.
The competition is on! Scattered around Nostell’s lawns this autumn are hundreds of hidden gems; have a rummage and see if you can find a corker of a conker.
Give it a swing on a piece of string and see if it’s tough enough to win the conker championship?
Whilst you’re foraging, look out for an acorn cup to bring back to the Family Room where you can craft your own acorn out of felt to sit inside.
Top tip: have a look at the National Trust oak leaf logo and forage beneath any trees with leaves that look the same.
