Details

A view that gives you pause to stop and stare, a rock or stone that provides shelter or comfort- a tree that you silently acknowledge on your walk to work. Our relationship to the environment around us contributes to our identity and sense of place in the world.

Kate Daudy is an artist recognised for work exploring the limits of language and sculpture/text crossover and her written interventions in public/private spaces expressing her search for meaning. She has redefined an ancient Chinese tradition as a contemporary art form for the modern era.

A committed peacenik and hope-monger she shares positive thought provoking messages in an effort to encourage a sense of joy and personal empowerment. This one day workshop is an opportunity to join Kate for a walk around some of the 500 acres of YSP to create a map of your own thoughts and feelings.
