Stone Carving Masterclass at The Hepworth Wakefield
Workshop/Course, from 29 Oct 2016
Also at this Venue
Master stone sculptor Melanie Wilks will lead a two-day masterclass, creating unique limestone carvings for your home or garden inspired by Barbara Hepworth’s use of the direct stone carving method.
This is a rare chance to explore the wonderful galleries of the Hepworth and the legacy of Barbara Hepworth through gaining first-hand, understanding of the sculptural processes Hepworth pursued using fine limestone and traditional handheld tools.
