Princess of all ages are being invited to help set a right royal record at Trinity Walk, Wakefield, this summer.

Trinity Walk are teaming up with Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice charity to attempt to smash the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as a princess on Sunday 6 August.

Guinness World Record rules state that to take part, people must come wearing a long dress or gown down to their ankles and a crown or tiara – spare crowns will be available for free on the day. That could be as simple as a long maxi dress and Burger King crown.

Dixie, Emma and the Heart Angels from Heart radio will be there along with Princess Jasmine from Theatre Royal Wakefield and other famous princesses including Belle from Beauty and the Beast and ice queen Elsa from Frozen. So don't forget to bring your phone or camera for FREE pictures!

Men, women and children of all ages are invited to take part, with free face painting and free activities taking place between 12pm and 4pm and the main record attempt count is at 2pm, lasting five minutes.
