Castleford Beer Festival at Queen's Mill
Beer Festival, from 4 Nov 2016
Castleford Beer Festival returns for another round this November.
Presented by Castleford’s own Revolutions Brewing Company the beer festival will be held in the historic Queen’s Mill on the 4th and 5th November in partnership with Castleford Heritage Trust. For one weekend only this iconic venue plays host to great beer, food, Meet The Brewer events and music.
At least 30 cask beers from Yorkshire will be on offer and this year all the beers have been brewed using Fawcett's Malt. Fawcett's have been serving the brewing industry worldwide from their Castleford home for over 200 years.
There'll also be bottled and canned craft world beers, cider and soft drinks on offer at a Wakefield Beer Exchange bottle bar and an exhibition of great art from the local region curated by WeAre. All of the works exhibited will be available to purchase. A proportion of the proceeds from the festival will go towards the ongoing restoration of the mill.
Tickets, priced at £6, include a souvenir glass and souvenir festival programme with Meet the Brewer and local interest articles, and are available online (booking fees apply) and from selected outlets.
