Wakefield’s Festival of Food, Drink and Rhubarb is one of the first major events in the UK's 'foodie' calendar and we are proud to celebrate Wakefield's traditional links with rhubarb growing.

The rhubarb themed street performers will keep you entertained whilst you try out a range of spicy, sweet, tasty street food.

This year also sees the return of the popular food and drink workshops and fringe events across the city centre and beyond.

The festival is pleased to welcome this year’s celebrity chefs Brian Turner, Great British Bake Off finalist Luis Troyano and Rachel Green who will be demonstrating alongside our top local, regional and national chefs.

Bring a notepad and pen for recipes and get there early as it’s first come first seated for these popular cookery demonstrations.
