Details

Love nature and the outdoors? You’ll love RSPB Fairburn Ings.

Try your hand at pond dipping, experience enjoyable events or just have a relaxing stroll around the woodland. Fairburn Ings is the perfect place for the whole family to get closer to nature.

Three main trails take you through a variety of habitats that have stunning views of birds such as willow tits and tree sparrows in the woodland and lapwings, snipe and redshanks in the wet grassland.

Take a break from exploring the reserve and grab a warm drink from the Visitor Centre. Don’t forget to buy a souvenir of your visit; choose from children’s toys, nature books, bird care products and lots more. Become a member of the RSPB and help protect nature at places like these across the country.

The Visitor Centre, family trail and Lin Dike trail are accessible to all.

Dogs are welcome at the reserve and facilities including a dog parking area and a dog bowl are available on site. Please keep your dog on a lead while on the trails. Only assistance dogs can be brought into the Visitor Centre.
