To this end we have created a dedicated page to promoting the Wakefield District during English Tourism Week. Below you will find information about what events will be taking place between 17th and 25th March across the district for you to visit and enjoy.

We have also included links aboto all of our local visitor attractions across the district. Everything from Pontefract Castle and National Trust Nostell to the Hepworth Wakefield and Wakefield Museum.

If you are plannig on visiting our district during English Tourism Week, don't forget to use the hashtag #etw18 on social media when you visit our attactions and towns and take lots of photos to show your friends and family.

Our three historic towns, Castleford, Pontefract and Wakefield form an important part of the cultural landscape of the district.
