February Half Term

It's Feburary half term, and that means a seemingly never-ending round of playing, "How to entertain the kids?". Don't panic: there's plenty to do across the Wakefield district!

While the weather's cold, stay indoors and get creative at one of the craft workshops running at local museums through the week. Come to Castleford Museum to find out what life was like in the Iron Age. Take in a show featuring children's favourite characters at Theatre Royal Wakefield.

And you deserve a treat, too - so why not tickle your tastebuds at the Wakefield Festival of Food, Drink and Rhubarb, safe in the knowledge that there's plenty to keep your little ones amused while you sample all the festival has to offer?

So what are you waiting for? Download our planner and explore the links below to find out what you'll be getting up to this half term.
