Trapped is a thrilling dance-theatre & film work motivated by the world-famous collapse of the San Jose Mine in Chile in 2010 which trapped 33 miners deep underground for 69 terrifying days. Incredibly, they all survived.

In the confined and underground spaces of Caphouse Colliery at the National Coal Mining Museum for England extreme physical movement and atmospheric lighting create a world horrifying in its darkness but hopeful for the light of the future.

A mesmerising soundscape and haunting, original live music add to the power of this experiential journey… sending chills down spines.

Presented by Experiential, a local touring company renowned for creating powerful and entertaining theatrical experiences.
