Perpetual Motion Machine

Perpetual Motion Machine

Wakefield Sports Club (College Grove),
Eastmoor Road,

Also at this Venue

Almost as soon as humans created machines, they attempted to make "perpetual motion machines" that work on their own and that work forever. However, the devices never have and likely never will work as their inventors hoped.

With an unusual line-up of twin tenor saxophones, twin guitars, bass, and drums, the band Perpetual Motion Machine creates a cinemascope sound that surrounds the listener and the power comes not from sheer volume, but from the breadth (stylistic and spatial) of its sources which include the likes of Bowie and Peter Gabriel.

Rock, free-improvisation, spoken word, and jazz coexist in this exciting new music, crafted by artists who embrace these traditions in all their variety and depth.
