Details

Wakefield Museum have a special visit from the curator of the Mental Health Museum who will share the little known story of Mary Heaton, a patient in the West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum in the 1800s. Mary recorded all her thoughts using sewing. Follow Mary's example and embroider a beautiful linen pouch.

All materials and light refreshments included.

Session takes place in the Museum's Learning Zone within the Library.
