Wakefield Festival of Food, Drink & Rhubarb

Wakefield’s Festival of Food, Drink & Rhubarb makes a welcome return to the city centre this February half-term, offering plenty of foodie-themed fun and entertainment for all to enjoy!

From Friday 22 to Sunday 24 February, the city centre will be home to our large festival market featuring many products with a rhubarb twist including artisan breads, preserves and cheeses to scrumptious cakes, delectable gins, wines and much more!
Wakefield is part of Yorkshire’s famed and mysterious Rhubarb Triangle, known throughout the country for producing the finest forced rhubarb. Yorkshire Forced Rhubarb has received protected name status alongside other famous delicacies such as Champagne and Parma Ham
Come with an empty stomach, leave your New Year diets at home and enjoy lots of delicious food and drink - including plenty of rhubarb-inspired products alongside some of the best produce Yorkshire has to offer.
