*Please Note - Water sports are now available on Saturdays, from 10am to 5pm and Sundays, from 10.30am to 5pm, throughout the summer season. Some windsurfing equipment and sit on and open top kayaks are available to hire. Pedalo hire will also resume at weekends, dependent on the weather conditions.*

With Sandal Castle as a back-drop, Pugneys Country Park is a great place to learn how to sail.

The courses are available to suit all levels of ability, from beginners to instructors.

Adult courses are run predominantly in wayfarers sailing dinghies, other dinghies are used as required and include Toppers, Pico’s, Laser I, Laser II, RS Vision and Hoby 405. Courses do not get bigger than 6 singles or 3 multi/doubles per class. All the instructors are highly qualified through the appropriate governing body and have considerable experience in teaching at Pugneys.
