Wed 30 May May-Hem! @ Castleford Campus

The May-Hem! open day is an opportunity for Non and Existing CU members to visit the Castleford Campus and take part in activities provided by our Learning Destinations and College tutors, all under one roof. Visit Learning Destination at their stands, take part in their activities, take a tour of the college and book onto college led activities. Last year saw over 150 people attend throughout the day and take part in activities and information sessions. This year, come and visit reptiles and birds of prey, learn about the history of Wakefield, take part in craft activities, see museum collections and much more! This is an excellent way to learn something new over half term. CU members can collect a stamp in their Passport to Learning for attending.

Where: Wakefield College Castleford Campus WF10 4UA

Why: To open up the college to children, parents, school staff and other interested parties, providing them with an insight into college life. To give families attending the opportunity to meet different Learning Destinations and take part in their activities. For Learning Destinations to introduce themselves to parents/children, provide activities which link to courses at college (e.g art and design)

When: Wednesday 30th May 2018 10am – 2pm

Who: Open to all CU members, their families and friends. Also open to non CU members who may be interested in finding out more about the CU (this could be parents/carers, school staff or activity providers)

Visit the event page on Facebook: /childrensuniversityatwakefieldcollege or email for more information.
