25-27 Northgate, Wakefield,

Robatary is named after the Robata grill, which originated in Japan. Simply meaning "fireside cooking", it refers to a method of cooking most similar to a barbecue, in which your food is cooked over hot charcoal.

Robata offers a fusion cuisine, with influences from Indonesia and Peru, the West coast of America, San Francisco and Hawaii, as well as the best bits of Yorkshire. Their menu offers two styles of dining: Pacific Tapas (small plates) & Traditional.

With their Pacific tapas dishes, diners can enjoy a selection of small plates to share (or not!). All of these have been carefully put together to allow for a taste of the Robatary, sampling tastes from Asia, the Americas & the local area.

For a more traditional way of dining, select a starter from the small plates & a main from the Robata & Big Plate section.
