Live original music in Wakefield on the first Thursday of every month. Doors open at 8pm.

9.15pm | Dead Slow Hoot
Bittersweet, anthemic, melancholy alt-rock made in Sheffield. Dead Slow Hoot combine poetic lyricism with rich musical textures and sparse sonic landscapes to fill your ears with melancholy musings. After the release of their EP 'I Suppose They Were Better Off As Dead', Dead Slow Hoot have progressed to playing larger and larger stages, receiving critical praise from the likes of 6 Music in the process. 'Frontman Hugo Lynch delivers powerful, poignant vocals that culminate into an impressive mix of reverb drenched guitar riffs, dreamy melodies and energetic drums that will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand to attention and demand more,' says English Rain Records.

8.30pm | Milk Crimes
Formed in a bedroom in Leeds in 2015, Milk Crimes play fast and catchy indie punk songs about being miserable and eating junk food. Dual vocals and garage punk rawness combine with angular power pop hooks. Having released a debut EP on No Dice Tapes, their song 'I'll Be Back Soon' was featured on the first volume of Art For Blind's 'Put Ears On Yourself' 7" compilation series. Their second record, ‘EP II’, was recorded at Greenmount Studios in Leeds and released as a 7” by Everything Sucks Music in 2018. Milk Crimes have toured with bands such as Doe, Fresh and Happy Accidents.
