Darling Reads

Darling Reads is an independent bookshop in the heart of Horbury, Wakefield, run by Laura and Asher. We stock a wide range of adult and children's fiction and non-fiction books, second-hand and local history books. We offer a book-ordering service with fast delivery, as well as out-of-print book searches.

We opened on 22nd July 2020, right in the middle of a global pandemic, and while some might say the timing wasn't great, we disagree. What better time is there to escape from reality and get stuck into a good book! We can fulfil home delivery requests for anyone who is unable to get out at the moment.
