We all love to be beside the seaside, so get your flip flops ready and grab your buckets and spades for a weekend of free family fun!

The beach is returning to Wakefield on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 August and to Castleford on Saturday 18 August. The Seaside events offer a chance for families to have all the fun of the seaside close to home. Last year saw over 51,000 people enjoying the seaside entertainment, and this year it's going to be even bigger and better.

Not to be missed at Wakefield Seaside:

•An even BIGGER beach
•Free donkey rides
•Punch and Judy shows
•Sand Art
•Family workshops
•Market stalls
•Street Entertainment
•Street Food

Children's TV favourite Peppa Pig will also be making a guest appearance at this year's event. Peppa will meet and greet her young fans twice on each day in Wakefield, whilst also making regular appearances on stage.

For more seaside fun, why not visit Castleford on Saturday 18th August for Seaside in Castleford, where you can enjoy the thrills and excitement of the seaside near you.
