To mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Roald Dahl, Sir Quentin Blake created a series of 10 portraits of memorable characters from Dah's well-loved collection of books.

Visitors are invited to imagine that the characters have sat for a formal portrait. Some of the portraits include the Twits, Charlie and the most formidable Miss Trunchbull.

The exhibition includes some fun hands-on activities; look out for family sessions with a special Roald Dahl theme at Wakefield Museum and Wakefield Library throughout Summer.

The British Library exhibition generously supported by Quentin Blake and Arts Council England.

This exhibition will run from 14 July 2018 to 5 January 2019.
