Come and celebrate St George's Day at the castle!

Allow yourself to be transported back into the mists of time and experience the sights, sounds and smells of our stunning medieval camp.

Our costumed re-enactors will be demonstrating ancient crafts, and musicians will serenade you with medieval ballads and songs.

Fancy getting hands-on? Then step into the footsteps of Robin Hood with our have-a-go archery sessions. Will your arrow fly straight and true to find its target?

Be bold, and take a tour of our deep, dark dungeons - see where prisoners left to languish carved their names into the rock.

Or take part in a family-friendly dragon-themed craft activity for your little ones to make and keep.

And best of all, be amazed by St George himself as he locks horns with a fearsome dragon - will he slay the mighty beast?

This event is FREE, and there's no need to book.
