Details
The Cow Shed is the stunning Grade II listed building around which Joanne Harris created the book Chocolat, adapted into the famous film. The elegant 16th century building, with original features including crested ceiling, has been beautifully refurbished to a high standard.
The Cow Shed focuses on serving local seasonal produce, cooked with a modern English style โ presented to you in a cosey and intimate dining room by a professional team of attentive waiting staff, and accompanied by a wide selection of wines. Owner Robert and his team aim to showcase the excellent fare Yorkshire has to offer on our set lunch and á la carte menus while our dedicated front of house team ensure you have an exceptional dining experience.
With its open grill and cosmopolitan atmosphere, the Cow Shed has quickly gained a reputation for excellence. With alfresco dining opportunities in the summer months, the Cow Shed is the ideal place to eat, whatever the weather.
