A talk by Ian Roberts, former Principal Archaeologist for West Yorkshire Archaeological Services, on the excavation of the Ferrybridge Henge.

Ferrybridge Henge is a Neolithic henge, the furthest south of all Yorkshire's henges, and the only one in West Yorkshire. A site of considerable national importance, the henge has been the seat of many fascinating archaeological discoveries including an Iron Age sword scabbard, a Roman coin and early Bronze Age burial goods.

As well as the henge, Ian will also be looking at the surrounding landscape features, including the Ferry Fryston chariot burial.
